Job Title: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Consultant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud architecture, networking, security, and operational support, with a focus on implementing and maintaining scalable and secure GCP environments. This role involves managing infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day cloud operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Cloud Architecture & Deployment:

o Maintain and optimize the existing GCP landing zones, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

o Architect scalable and secure cloud solutions using best practices and industry standards.

· Networking & Security:

o Manage and optimize networking components such as VPCs, VPNs, and Interconnects.

o Implement and enforce security policies, including IAM, firewalls, and encryption protocols.

o Address and remediate security findings from Check Point CSPM to ensure compliance with standards.

· Operational Support:

o Provide hands-on support for GCP services, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing system performance.

o Manage Linux and Windows environments within GCP for high availability and scalability.

· Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain detailed documentation of architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.

o Prepare reports on resource utilization, compliance status, and performance improvements.

Qualifications:

· Experience:

o 5+ years in cloud technologies, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP-focused roles.

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in GCP services, Terraform, Check Point CSPM, and system administration (Linux/Windows).

o Strong expertise in networking, security frameworks, and cloud operations.

· Certifications:

o Relevant Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification) are strongly preferred.

· Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
